CTMH Hip Pics Album

Oops, I didn't do very well at trying to blog regularly.  Life happens.  As you see I have a new granddaughter, we helped out when momma went back to work babysitting until a spot opened up in daycare.  It was a wonderful time and we miss her so much.  That is the beauty in homeschooling, anywhere and anytime we can and do learn!  The boys have been redoing their train layout.  I guess it is time to get back to my "Studio".  I have a lot of presents to make.

This is what I made for my hubby's parents.  It is a "Hip Pic" album from CTMH available in the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide on page .  The kit Z1915 is $12.95; it come with the album 8 pages with window on page to fit a photo so 16 photos in all (4X6), B size My Acrylix Hip Pics Album Stamp Set, and die-cut shapes.  I printed to photos in 4X4 size and printed on 4X6 photo paper.  (I used Adobe Photo shop--my Christmas present--Love it!)

I used a retired paper pack Stella (only two sheets) cut 2x4 strips to put on the bottom of the pages Babycakes (D1569) stamp set which has the matching cuts, Art Philosophy Cartridge (Z1686), Olive and Tulip Inkpad, and matching Stella completments package (also retired).

Finally, here are pictures of my finished album.

Welcome to my new blog!  I can not access my previous blog - dianescraftroom.blogspot; so I am starting over.

It has been a while since my last post, my daughter was in the hospital since the middle of May with pregnancy related problems.  My beautiful granddaughter made her appearance on August 1st, she is so beautiful (she looks just like her mom).  My creativity has taken a back seat and will until the first of the year.  I am going to try to post at least once a week but time will tell.  I have a lot going on.

This blog is going to cover my crafting, our homeschooling adventures, and our HO Train highlights.
