A little Christmas ornament
I made these for my parents Christmas Tree, they like pictures to hang on their tree. Each year I make a different type of ornament with Bug and Baby Bug.
I used my Cricut Explore and CTMH Art Philosophy at 4.24. for the stocking. I ungrouped the pieces and inserted Baby Bug's name and this year and welded it to the piece. Baby Bug glued on white cardstock then glued to the base stocking (not a bad job for a two year old) I cut out one then mirror image cute the stocking, redid the writing so it would be the correct way. I then hand stitched the two stockings together and glued Baby Bug with Santa on the tag added some red ribbon.

CTMH Color Dare #126
Color Dare #126 - Bamboo, Champagne, & Black
I used My Creations™ Kraft Mini Book and cut from the Yuletide Carol (the first one shown) at 7 1/4" by 4 1/2" and 4 1/2" x 4". The heart was cut using my Cricut Explore using CTMH Artbooking at 3", and Black Cardstock. Each year I give the Grandparents a picture album for Christmas. This year I decided that I would start in January and pick one picture per month, instead of just using pictures from October and November, so they can see how the kiddos change throughout the year. I used the black cardstock also to cut out the "2015" and used the negative space for this one and I will use the actual numbers for the other one. (The font was from CTMH Artbooking cartridge also.

It was cut from Cricut Winter Woodland Cartridge at 7.65x4.49 the crying hunter with his cell phone is from Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls1.93x2.8 with the clothes linked to match up.

While the Kids are gone
I am not just playing! :)
Baby Bug is home with her Momma today, and Buggie is helping our Pastor move some stuff.
So I am home alone :( I am NOT looking forward to Buggie graduating in 3 years, homeschooling for the past 6 years. (Wow, it doesn't seem that long!) and Baby Bug going off to school.
I really enjoy having them both here!
Oh my, the pantry looks so nice now!
Bug and I was just talking about getting the pantry closet organized,
so I got this done today......but wait!
I found this in the closet, it doesn't fit in the Durango or car cup holder so I haven't been using it. I went to Doodlebug in Jasper and got a Scrap-Ma-Bob Cup & Bag Clamp-On Holder and it fits perfectly! Now I can have my water safe while I am working is my craftroom! I cut this out using my Explore and DS. This is on CTMH Artristry Cartridge! It is the "8" key Shape (shift) for the Expression users, at 4.5". I am so happy with how this turned out.
So enough of a break I am off to start working on getting our classroom better organized.

Birthday and Anniversary Cards
My brother's birthday and his and my sister-in-laws anniversary is this weekend so I made a couple of cards for them.
I used my Expression to cut the above card the hearts are from the CTMH Artistry Cartridge the number 5 key and background cut at 3.75. The card itself is 4.5x4.5.
My brother likes these silly things, shouldn't surprise my, they kinda look like him!

A pumpkin for my pumpkin
I made this for my little pumpkin today while she was at home with her daddy. I miss her when she's not here. Today was not a good day for my sinuses but I needed something to do since the little pumpkin wasn't here we got school done early.
I used my Explore (yeah, computer is working!) from CTMH Artistry cartridge cut at 4.99"
She has played with her monkey so much I thought I would make something for fall.
I hope she likes it.

Computer trouble again
I have been without a computer because of a virus, but now it is fixed and I have my craft computer again. I got an external backup so I can go on without my crafting computer if and when I have issues again.
So without a computer no Cricut Explore either :( I had a hard time trying to use my other machines, or maybe it was just an excuse to put off getting started.
It is time to get going on my Christmas presents. I have one regular scrapbook that I am going to do for my daughter and son-in-law with a page for each month, then I have two to do for both sets of grandparents. I have a book "Start Scrapbooking, Your essential guide to recording memories" by Wendy Smedley. I have a scrapbook phobia (and yet I am a CTMH Independent Consultant), so I have been focusing on making cards. Now I am going to conquer my fears and get started on getting my photos in scrapbooks.

Sympathy Card
My Son-in-law's Grandpa passed away I can only find two of the four cards that I made :(
The first one is from a CTMH card kit, the second is just my play on the kit.
I didn't use my cricut these were just simple cards.
I am going to start working on my 30+ years of photos I have, so I am going to start working on scrapbook pages. (I still haven't got my craft room organized, but I am trying.)

A couple of cards
I have just been playing around with my Explore and Design Space.
This is the card I just made for our Youth Director at our church (and also dear friend and fellow model train enthusiast) It is the CTMH Cut Above™ Happy Birthday Card Kit for only $9.95 complete kit to make ten cards. (although this one has a train stamped on it, for his cards it ALWAYS has to have a train. It just wouldn't be complete without it in my opinion)

This is the card that I made for my sweet Daughter's 30th birthday. I used my Explore on this one, it is so easy. We were going to go to the Louisville Zoo but my Durango decided it needed a break!
I took pictures of these two cards but I haven't been taking pictures of the other stuff I have been playing around with. :(
I have been spending more time working hard at getting our homeschooling done (poor Bub), I hope I haven't been overworking him.
We have also been getting Heather Jr. in our homeschooling, she's not two yet but Nana and Bub is making her work (it is fun watching Bub teach her stuff)

Color My Heart Color Dare #130 - White Daisy & Silver - NO Black!
Color My Heart Color Dare #130 - White Daisy & Silver - NO Black!
White Daisy
Silver(No Black!)
This is a simple A2 card, I cute the bow from CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge pg 55 at 2 1/2 in CTMH Silver Glitter Paper (I had a CTMH White Daisybrad for the center). The stamp set used was Typed Note(which will be April's Stamp of the Month) using CTMH Whisper Ink.
I used my Explore to cut the glitter paper using the poster board setting and it worked perfectly. I didn't like the glitter going all over so I sprayed it with some cheap hair spray after I assembled it.Thursday, February 19, 2015
Color Dare #129 - Cranberry, Hollyhock, Crystal Blue, Lagoon, Whisper, & White Daisy
Color Dare #129 - Cranberry, Hollyhock, Crystal Blue, Lagoon, Whisper, & White Daisy
I have decided to make 2015 the year I do a lot of scrapbooking. I have over 30 years of pictures to get documented so I have my work cut out for me.
This is a picture of me and my daughter (who will be 30 this year). Her daughter looks (and acts) just like she did.
I used CTMH Heartstrings Card WOTG. The base is White Daisy, I used the Heartstrings B&T Duos™ Paper cut at 6x6 for my photo mat. (I used both sides) The lower left is cut at 4x6 and random stamped the roses in Cranberry, Hollyhock, Crystal Blue, Lagoon and Whisper from the stamp set included in the kit. The rosette was cut from CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge, page 55 I used the circle punch and clear button to hold it together. On the top 4x6 I will do some journaling.

The heart is stamped in CTMH Flaxen Ink, the "straight to my heart" is stamped in
CTMH Cranberry Ink, the roses are stamped in CTMH Black Ink and I colored them with the old Cranberry Markers. I used two black Stuck on You Puffies.

Color Dare #127.5
For this weeks color dare The colors are: Canary, Slate and White Daisy
I made my son-in-law this picture of his little girl (my precious grandbaby) for his birthday.
On CTMH White Daisy cardstock I stamped the arrows from CTMH Flight of the Arrows on a diagonal using CTMH Carary Ink and glued it on a wood picture from Joanns. The Hugs frame is from CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, I unlocked the size so I could make it 4x6. This was cut from CTMH Slate cardstock. I used the negative hugs on the side and I had a tag from previous projects that I stamped "All Hugs Transferable" from CTMH Just the Ticket stamp set in CTMH Slate Ink.
I used my Cricut Explore for this project, it is getting easier to use the more I am using it. The easiest is still the Expression.

Heart2Heart CAS - Clean and simple challenge
What is Clean and Simple? To most it is minimalistic, little to no embellishments, less is more style. That's my take on this challenge. I made this card for my son-in-law. I used CTMH retired Grey Flannel Card Stock and created a simple A2 card using CTMH Seaside Greetings stamp set stamped the image with Grey Flannel Ink. Inside I used the "Birthday Wishes" and a cloud that is in the same stamp set. Simple and easy! Gotta love it:)
Heart 2 Heart Color Challenge: Your Birthday
My birthday is in May so I am featuring Topiary.
I used Topiary card stock and I used CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. It is on page 25 "G" key scene and shift scene. Both are cut at 7 inches. I cut the "Happy Birthday" from Grey Flannel and also cut a 4"x6" for the inside to highlight the Happy Birthday more. That was any easy card to make, having the right tools make all the difference.

Heart 2 Heart first challenge of 2015
Heart 2 Heart's first challenge in 2015 is old is new. I just purchased a black magnetic dry erase board (my craft studio is going to be black and pink) and I wanted some pretty magnets to hold notes, so after thinking over this challenge I decided to make my own. I found CTMH Timeless charms that I had purchased a while back and attached them to a business card magnet with CTMH Liquid Glass ( I just cut the magnet to size), then I came across CTMH Badge Buttons (I love these) and decided to stamp my initial "D" from CTMH monogram stamp with CTMH Cotton Candy ink.

For this Color Dare I am making another mini book for the other set of Grandparents (my Mom & Dad)
My Dad likes pigs and Mom likes roosters so I had to include them in their mini book. I used
My Creations™ Kraft Mini Book, I cut Indian Corn Blue Cardstock at 7 1/4" x 4 1/2" inked the edges with White Daisy Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad, I used silver glitter cardstock and Cricut® Artbooking Collection for the filmstrip it was cut at 7 1/4" using my Cricut Explore (I didn't think I would really use that machine very much, boy was I wrong! ) Of course the "2015" was from the previous post. I stamped the images in Indian Corn Blue Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad (sorry Grandma was a My Pink Stamper Stamp~ wanted to keep both the same size) Grandpa is from Perfect Fit—Dad, "Sending Love Your Way" and the Hearts come from Lifting Spirits, the pig and rooster come from Fancy Fair (Hurry Retiring Soon), the butterfly is retired from CTMH I used our previous markers in Indian Corn Blue to color it in, I also used Metallics Markers (Silver) for some highlights.

A little late CTMH Color Dare #125
We are using all of the Snowhaven colors: Cranberry, Glacier, White Daisy, Black and Whisper. You can post your project (doesn't have to be a card) by Thursday, January 15 at 9PM CT. We would love to have you join us!
Well I was late getting my pictures to my computer, I am having a hard time getting my memory card to sync with my photo library:( Oh well I will post my work here only anyway.
Front of card.
I used CTMH Sponge Sponge Dobbers and Glacer Ink to ink around the edges.
I cut the front of card at 4 1/2" x 3"
used the Edge Distresser Z1297 $3.95 USD
wrapped some baker's twin around it and used Duck® Easy-Stick™ Adhesive to glue it down.
I used some of the red hearts that came with Workshops on the Go® Snowhaven Cardmaking Kit.
Inside of card
I used the Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection to cut the oval shape. Stamped the sentiment from This Moment – January 2015 Stamp of the Month in Black Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad
Sponged Cranberry Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and also stamped the This Moment – January 2015 Stamp of the Month to stamp the heart (also Cranberry Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad), the cupid came from the same stamp set and stamped in Slate Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad. I added the zip strip to the bottom of the card.
I hope my darling hubby likes his Valentine's Day Card.

Happy 2015
January Stamp of the month.
I am still working on my craft studio, I can not believe how much has been going on for the past three months. I even found some pictures that I forgot to put in some of our family's gift bag. (being at the ER with my dad I can not imagine why I forgot.)
I am going to make something with January SOTM hopefully this week end.
