Cricut Explore

Well after two weeks in the box, I finally got my Explore out and used it today.  It sure is different than my Expression and E2, but I just might like it.

My craft room is coming along, it is now time to get everything in place and organized.  It is going to be a long process since it use to be our storage space for decorations.  I guess I will decorate for Christmas early to get it out of the way of my new design space!

I am still dealing with my health issues, it is amazing what all has milk product in it.

I have some pictures that I will post later with the craftroom coming along.

Calling all Cricut Imagine Owners.

I received this email from Provocraft and wanted to get this great news out to everyone!!

I am going to get the Explore for Christmas this year, I can not wait.

So far I have used my Expression a lot, I really do like it but I also like my E2.

To whom it may concern,

You are receiving this email because we have record that you are a Cricut Imagine owner. Very soon, we will be releasing the Print then Cut feature for Cricut Design Space™, the online software used exclusively with Cricut Explore® machines. Even if you're not yet a Cricut Explore owner, you'll want to read on for exciting news.

As a Cricut Imagine owner, with the launch of the Print then Cut feature, your Cricut.com account will be granted free digital access to all Cricut Imagine Art Cartridges (even those you haven't purchased!) in Cricut Design Space for use with the Cricut Explore machine, whether you have one now or purchase one in the future.

Because you are receiving this email, no further action is required—the images will be loaded to your account. We want to make sure everyone who is eligible for this offer receives it, so we need your help in spreading the word to anyone who owns a Cricut Imagine but did not receive this email. If you know someone who has a Cricut Imagine, please ask them if they heard the great news. If they didn't receive this email, they can still get free digital access—they just need to contact customer service at imagineowners@cricut.com with the serial number of their Cricut Imagine machine and the email they use to log into Cricut.com. Customer service will then update their Cricut.com accounts to give them full access to all the Cricut Imagine Art Cartridges. Whether or not they own a Cricut Explore machine, they'll need to claim this offer by December 31, 2014, so that the images will be linked to their account if and when they upgrade their machine.

My craft studio is coming along we got some painting done yesterday, now to build the side wall between it and our train room.  I can not wait to get the wall up so I can move everything in place and get organized and start scrapbooking and card making.

I am still working on my new Craft Studio, tomorrow Buggie and I will be painting the floor in the once storage closet and cleaning the walls.  (The people that waterproofed our basement did an awful job.)  I have been watching my precious granddaughter so with that as a full time job and then homeschooling as a full time job and trying to make sure I am using only dairy free for our meals my craft studio has been on hold.

Birthday Card

A dear friend from church is having a birthday so I made this card for her.

Again I use Dotty for You retired paper pack.  I inked all edges with Outdoor Denim Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad ($5.95), the stamp Better with a Friend ($10.00 Hostess Stamp set only), I used our previous alcohol markers on this.  The Happy Birthday Bubble is from Cloud Nine Stamp Set (this was a National Paper Crafting Month stamp).



We started working on my Craft Studio again, I didn't realize how hard this change would be.  So the boys will have about 3/4 of our basement for our HO train layout.  But I do like it in the corner out of the traffic going to the layout.

I made a "Thank You" card for my former Mother-in-law for a beautiful doily she made me when she came to my Granddaughter's First Birthday party we had for her at my house.

I used Close To My Heart's August Stamp of the Month What a Hoot (which you can get for only $5.00 with a purchase of $50.00), A True Thank You ($2.95), Lagoon Ink, ($5.95), I used the new ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ markers CTMH is carrying for my owl: BR116 Clay, B62 Marine Blue, BR99 Bronze, and R140 Light Orange, (each only $5.95).  I used Lagoon Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad ($5.95) to ink the edges of my card.  I used the "Dotty for You" retired paper for my background.  I stamped the thank you on white card stock using Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection ($99.00  Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection includes: 1 – Cartridge (700 images: font, shapes, and 3-D items)

I just bought the Cricut Expression at Menards in Evansville, IN for only $149.99!!!!

Yes, I already have the E2 and Imagine (my E2 gets used daily).  I plan to get the Explorer also.  (I admit it, I have a problem)  Hey I am in the middle of redoing my craft space so I really did need a new machine. :)   I will have to post the Minnie Mouse cuts that I am going to use for my Granddaughter's birthday.
