Color My Heart Color Dare #124

I am doing my first ever challenge!

Color Dare #124 - Glacier, Kraft, & White Daisy
Happy New Year, everybody! Welcome to 2015, and welcome to a brand new Color Dare! We have an important change for you this year, and I hope you will love it!

CHANGE: I will be adding neutrals to the color combinations this year. That means you may not add random neutral colors to your projects. You must use ONLY the colors specified. However, we will allow black and white, unless otherwise specified.

That being said, I think you will really love the combos for this year. I hope you will be challenged, but I hope it won't be too hard for you.

Now, onto this week's colors:

Glacier
Kraft
White Daisy

I made this birthday card for my wonderful hubby.  His birthday is this Sunday.

I used CTMH retired scallop edge Kraft Card base, I used White Daisy for the background cut from CTMH Art Booking Cricut Cartridge cut using my new Explore machine.  I used CTMH Art Philosophy to cut the circle for the bulls-eye, I hand cut the arrows and the "My Aim is True",  these were stamped with Glacier ink, the stamp set is January's Stamp of the Month - This Moment (only $5.00 with qualifying purchase.)

Happy 2015

January Stamp of the month.

I am still working on my craft studio,  I can not believe how much has been going on for the past three months.  I even found some pictures that I forgot to put in some of our family's gift bag.  (being at the ER with my dad I can not imagine why I forgot.)

I am going to make something with January SOTM hopefully this week end.

Just checking in

Just a quick post, things have been crazy.  I am watching my precious granddaughter about 12 hours a day now so I haven't been on the computer.  I have had two teeth break off and had to get them fixed and then I ended up having to have a root canal.  Then my dad went to the hospital at 1:30 AM Christmas Eve morning and came home the day after Christmas at 4:00PM to no electricity (there was an accident in front of their house the day before and the electric pole had to be replaced) so I brought them to my house and they finally got to go home about 6 that night.

So January 5th we will start our school back; now I need to figure out how to get everything in my schedule.  I think I will post on here about our homeschooling day too. (So look for a change in my blog name.)  We only have four short years left and then Jr. will be off to the working world.  He has been such a huge help with everything going on here.  We took off "formal" studies (instead of summer break we do winter break and it was a good thing this year)  He has done a lot of real life learning.  House work, cooking, cleaning, helping with a 16 month old and his grandparents.  But that is what we do, we do for others; it makes us happy!

I am planning to join a couple of blog hops so I can get back to my crafting, card making and hopefully I can start scrapbooking.  Only 30 years behind.  I haven't sent cards to my church family in a while either.

I am also going to share about my dairy-free living now.  So lots to be getting done, wish me luck!

Cricut Explore

Well after two weeks in the box, I finally got my Explore out and used it today.  It sure is different than my Expression and E2, but I just might like it.

My craft room is coming along, it is now time to get everything in place and organized.  It is going to be a long process since it use to be our storage space for decorations.  I guess I will decorate for Christmas early to get it out of the way of my new design space!

I am still dealing with my health issues, it is amazing what all has milk product in it.

I have some pictures that I will post later with the craftroom coming along.

Calling all Cricut Imagine Owners.

I received this email from Provocraft and wanted to get this great news out to everyone!!
I am going to get the Explore for Christmas this year, I can not wait.
So far I have used my Expression a lot, I really do like it but I also like my E2.
To whom it may concern,
You are receiving this email because we have record that you are a Cricut Imagine owner. Very soon, we will be releasing the Print then Cut feature for Cricut Design Space™, the online software used exclusively with Cricut Explore® machines. Even if you're not yet a Cricut Explore owner, you'll want to read on for exciting news.
As a Cricut Imagine owner, with the launch of the Print then Cut feature, your Cricut.com account will be granted free digital access to all Cricut Imagine Art Cartridges (even those you haven't purchased!) in Cricut Design Space for use with the Cricut Explore machine, whether you have one now or purchase one in the future.
Because you are receiving this email, no further action is required—the images will be loaded to your account. We want to make sure everyone who is eligible for this offer receives it, so we need your help in spreading the word to anyone who owns a Cricut Imagine but did not receive this email. If you know someone who has a Cricut Imagine, please ask them if they heard the great news. If they didn't receive this email, they can still get free digital access—they just need to contact customer service at imagineowners@cricut.com with the serial number of their Cricut Imagine machine and the email they use to log into Cricut.com. Customer service will then update their Cricut.com accounts to give them full access to all the Cricut Imagine Art Cartridges. Whether or not they own a Cricut Explore machine, they'll need to claim this offer by December 31, 2014, so that the images will be linked to their account if and when they upgrade their machine.
You will also be granted access to Cricut Imagine Colors & Patterns cartridges in a future release of Print then Cut. Once again, we thank you for being a loyal Cricut customer.
Happy crafting,
